Science Dept. Releases “Smell of Success” Air Fresheners
Desperate to boost midterm morale, the Science Department concocted “Olfactory Study Boosters”–air fresheners labeled “Eau de Examination Excellence” and “Pencil-Smolder Spice.” Spritzed in classrooms before tests, teachers swore by increased focus and fewer sniffles.
The scents–pineapple-peppercorn, graphite-cedar, and mint-ink–elicited mixed reactions: students reported vivid study dreams or a sudden craving for library silence. One math whiz credited a whiff of “Neon-Graphite” for unlocking calculus integrals in her sleep.
Sales soared at $3 per spray bottle, funding new microscopes and at least one impromptu perfume lab in Chemistry. As one sophomore said, “If success smells like stationery, I want eternity in a spray can.”
