Homecoming transformed the gym into a sparkly “Starry Night,” complete with fairy lights and a glitter hurricane when senior Marcus Lee accidentally triggered the fog machine mid-waltz–forever memorialized in Snapchat slow-mo as “The Great Fog Tango.”
Winter Formal brought frozen-themed elegance, until rival table decorations clashed–some students sported “Ice Queen” blue gowns while others arrived in “Molten Lava” sequins, sparking a spontaneous runway showdown judged by a panel of cafeteria staff wielding hot cocoa ladles.
Prom crowned the year’s crescendo with a surprise “Glow Stick Gala,” where wristbands lit up every twirl and the DJ’s neon drop had everyone dancing until sunrise–proof that Mavericks can turn any dance floor into a legendary story of style, mishaps, and midnight magic.
