Teachers In Action Triumph
Behind every Maverick success is a teacher accidentally photobombing a lesson plan. Ms. Rivera, Art instructor extraordinaire, was snapped mid-demonstration–paintbrush in hand, wearing mismatched socks and a grin that said, “Yes, this is how modern art is made.” Nearby, Mr. Patel lectured on quadratic formulas with such enthusiasm that a passing senior paused to sketch his animated hand gestures for the yearbook.
Science teacher Dr. Nguyen experimented with “liquid nitrogen ice cream” for Physics class, only to catch himself dripping frosty treats onto his tie. One candid captured the precise moment he realized cold tie equals instant fashion freeze. In the back row, the Chess Club tutor, Ms. Caldwell, monitored both checkmates and class participation with equal vigilance–caught on film offering extra credit in exchange for checkmate strategies.
These “Teachers In Action” shots remind us that at Memorial High, faculty embrace improv, unexpected snacks, and the occasional fashion faux pas–all in the name of Maverick education.
